On the 4th, the city administration questions were directed to the Mayor of Dongducheon, with council members Park In-beom and Lim Hyun-sook taking turns as questioners, proceeding in a one-on-one Q&A format for each member.
Council member Park In-beom, who asked the first city administration questions, inquired about △measures to allow industries other than dyeing and leather companies to settle in the general industrial complex △plans for the rapid establishment of a large-scale flower complex △the city’s intention regarding the incorporation of Eunhyeon-myeon and Nam-myeon into Dongducheon. Council member Lim Hyun-sook, the second questioner, asked about △plans for the preservation and promotion of existing cultural heritage, the city’s efforts to discover new cultural heritage, efforts underway to create walkable streets, and future mid- to long-term plans △plans to revitalize commercial districts in Jungang-dong and Bosan-dong.
On the 5th, the second city administration questions were directed to the heads of related departments, with council member Lim Hyun-sook asking about △the current status of our city’s special zones designation and future plans to promote the designation of a cultural special zone among the four major special zones being introduced by the current government, and receiving answers.
