Yeoju City Expands Childcare Services with Establishment of Public and National Childcare Centers in Gyodong Area
Yeoju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Chung-woo) announced on the 5th that the public Centerville Daycare Center (Director Yoo Seung-yeon) was opened on the 1st within the Gyodong Yeoju Station Centerville Triniche apartment complex.
The Centerville Daycare Center was established after Yeoju City and the Yeoju Gyodong (Hyanggyo Village) regional housing association signed an installation and operation agreement in June. After selecting a private consignment operator in July of this year, the center underwent three months of remodeling before opening.
Mayor Lee Chung-woo of Yeoju said, “We have opened the 15th public daycare center in Yeoju City,” adding, “We will support Centerville Daycare Center to become a place where children can grow up healthily, and we will continue to carefully review the promises of the 8th elected administration and do our best to make Yeoju a great place to raise children.”
Meanwhile, Centerville Daycare Center is located within the Yeoju Station Centerville Triniche apartment complex, covering an area of 224㎡ and operating with a capacity of 26 children.
