5-Day Service Performance Status Meeting, Exploring Strategies for Corporate Attraction
Yeongju City (Mayor Park Nam-seo) held a progress report meeting on the "Yeongju Advanced Bearing National Industrial Complex Enterprise Attraction Strategy Establishment Project" on the 5th at the City Hall 2nd Conference Room.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Mayor Lee Jae-hoon, members of the Yeongju City Council, the project company, and related officials, where they exchanged in-depth opinions through a progress report and a Q&A session.
This project was initiated to establish a successful enterprise attraction strategy that will determine the success of the Yeongju Advanced Bearing National Industrial Complex, which was approved by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport last August.
Conducted over a total of eight months from April to December this year, the project includes ▲current status analysis ▲enterprise attraction strategy establishment ▲identification of target companies for attraction (100 companies) ▲selection of in-depth companies (30 companies) ▲support for attraction activities to conclude memorandums of understanding ▲discovery of customized enterprise support and regulatory improvement measures.
Through this, the city aims to establish an efficient and sustainable enterprise attraction strategy targeting high-quality companies for the Yeongju Advanced Bearing National Industrial Complex and to achieve tangible results in enterprise attraction.
Deputy Mayor Lee Jae-hoon stated, “Attracting high-quality companies will greatly help overcome the population extinction crisis as well as revitalize the local economy,” adding, “Since the future of Yeongju depends on the successful enterprise attraction to the Advanced Bearing National Industrial Complex, we will steadily promote enterprise attraction based on the project results.”
Yeongju City has set "a vibrant local economy" as the top priority goal of the 8th elected administration and is conducting comprehensive enterprise attraction activities, including visiting over 100 companies this year alone. The city is steadily advancing activities to create "a business-friendly city, Yeongju," such as discovering customized enterprise support systems and managing post-investment companies.
Yeongju City is holding a progress report meeting on the implementation of the 'Yeongju Advanced Bearing National Industrial Complex Enterprise Attraction Strategy Establishment Service' on the 5th in the 2nd conference room of the city hall.
