Big Bang member G-Dragon (36, real name Kwon Ji-yong) attracted attention by arriving at the airport in a Tesla Cybertruck, which has not been released in South Korea.

G-Dragon visited Incheon International Airport on the afternoon of the 4th to attend the 'Chanel 2024/25 Cruise Replica Show' held in Hong Kong. Upon arriving at Terminal 2 of Incheon International Airport, G-Dragon caught eyes as he got off the Tesla electric pickup truck, the Cybertruck. The Tesla Cybertruck is a model not yet released in Korea, and the vehicle G-Dragon was riding had a temporary license plate attached.

The Cybertruck is Tesla's new car introduced after about three years since the Model Y. This large truck measures 5.7 meters in length, 2.2 meters in width, and weighs 3.1 tons, featuring a futuristic design and a metal exterior. Notably, it uses stainless steel body material so strong that it can even withstand bullets, offering bulletproof functionality along with a geometric design that has attracted global attention. The price ranges from $60,990 (approximately 83.76 million KRW) to $99,990 (137.32 million KRW) depending on the version.

Although the product has not been released domestically, it is known that two units have been sold, and one of them is presumed to be owned by G-Dragon. Due to a large number of pre-orders, the release date in Korea has not yet been announced.

Meanwhile, G-Dragon made a comeback on the 31st of last month with his new song "POWER." This is his solo track released after 7 years and 4 months since his 2017 mini-album ‘Kwon Ji-yong.’ Upon release, it topped real-time music charts on major domestic music sites such as Melon, Genie, Bugs, and Vibe. The response to the music video has also been hot, surpassing 10 million views within a day of its release. As of the 2nd, it ranked number one on the iTunes charts in 15 countries including Taiwan, Hong Kong, Finland, Macau, Mongolia, and Oman, proving its power.
