The Small and Medium Business Sharing Foundation announced on the 5th that it will hold the 2024 'Small and Medium Business Sharing Festa' at the Korea Federation of SMEs on the 14th, featuring auctions of celebrity memorabilia and sales of SME products.
The event will operate for one day until 5 PM. The opening ceremony includes a donation ceremony from the SME sector and an auction of memorabilia donated by celebrities such as former UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and Doosan Bears manager Lee Seung-yeop, aiming to raise funds for underprivileged groups.
The venue will feature over 170 sales booths with 150,000 popular products donated by about 300 SMEs and small business owners, including household appliances, children's clothing, and processed foods sold online and through home shopping.
In 2023, the Small and Medium Business Sharing Foundation also held a Picnic Market using donated items from SMEs and small business owners, which was loved by many local residents and nearby office workers to the extent of causing open runs.
Meanwhile, the Small and Medium Business Sharing Foundation plans to use the sales proceeds from the 2024 'Small and Medium Business Sharing Festa' to support warm winter supplies for the underprivileged, scholarships for children of SMEs, and deliver consolation goods to military and police units.
The 2024 'Small and Medium Business Sharing Festa' is open to anyone interested in SME products for viewing and purchasing, and those who apply for a 5,000 won discount coupon through the pre-registration site can buy items at an even lower price.
