Jung Young-seok, who teamed up with Korean player Park Ui-seong, his partner when they placed third at this year's Fuzhou International Tour, faced the pair Yu Quanjin (China) and Zhe Kaili (China) in the finals. In the early stages, they engaged in a close match due to the opponents' powerful serves, but in the latter part, Jung Young-seok showcased his outstanding skills with effective serves and returns, securing a dominant 2-0 (7-6, 6-1) victory.
Jung Young-seok said, "I am happy to achieve good results in a foreign competition with Park Ui-seong after a long time," and added, "I am grateful to Coach Kim Hyun-seung and Uijeongbu City for always supporting me to train in a good environment."
Mayor Kim Dong-geun said, "I sincerely congratulate our city's tennis team player Jung Young-seok on winning the men's doubles title at the ITF Huzhou International Tour," and added, "We will continue to support and cheer so that the tennis team can focus solely on training."
Based on the experience from this tournament, Jung Young-seok is expected to participate in the upcoming 2024 Gyeonggi season ITF tour and the Korea Corporate Tennis Federation tournaments, continuing to show excellent performances.
