Atopy Healing Day involved sending atopic dermatitis educational materials, moisturizers, and atopy healing kits necessary for the program to 83 pre-registered families, and children and parents received education together through a non-face-to-face online session.

The educational content consisted of a health education program tailored to children’s level, including prevention and management of atopic dermatitis, watching a curiosity sticker video, making mildly acidic moisturizing soap with a professional instructor, and making basil flowerpots.

A parent who participated in the program said, “It was a valuable time that made me realize the importance of atopy issues that I had forgotten in daily life, and it helped my child practice applying moisturizer thoroughly after showering.”

An official from Gwangju City said, “Allergies require early diagnosis and continuous management, so we will actively conduct education and promotion about allergic diseases and do our best to create a community-centered environment for allergy prevention and management.”
