The Gyeonggi Paju City Mental Health Welfare Center announced on the 5th that it is currently providing a ‘Visiting Psychological Support Service’ for local residents experiencing psychological difficulties due to the Daenam loudspeaker broadcasts.

The center operates a ‘Mind Relief Bus’ that directly visits places in need of mental health services to offer psychological support to residents.
From the 23rd to the 28th of last month, the bus visited Camp Greaves and Jangdan-myeon Administrative Welfare Center. The center supported residents' mental health recovery through mental health checkups and counseling, as well as ▲mental health screening tests (including the Impact of Event Scale) ▲autonomic nervous system stress assessments ▲distribution of care packages containing a mental health guidebook, sleep masks, and earplugs.
If the test results exceed the standard scores, the center connects individuals with psychiatric specialists for treatment and selects them as case management subjects to provide continuous care and assist their return to daily life.

A local resident who participated in the counseling said, “I was stressed every night because of the Daenam broadcasts, but through this examination, I realized how severe my symptoms were. I will talk with my family and visit a psychiatric clinic in the nearby city for treatment.”
