Sahakyeongeum to Conduct 'Pension Operations Staff Training' in 2024

The Private School Teachers' Pension Service (Sahakyeongeum) announced on the 5th that it will conduct the "2024 Pension Affairs Officer Training" for 100 pension affairs officers from school institutions in Jeju from the 4th to the 6th of this month.

This training was organized to enhance the understanding of the Sahakyeongeum system among pension affairs officers of school institutions and to strengthen their practical capabilities. Pension officers from across the country gathered in one place through applications, and lectures focused on key areas of pension work such as review, benefits, loans, and accident compensation were conducted. Along with a comprehensive overview of the system, practical know-how that officers can use effectively in the field was also provided.

On the following day, a cultural experience was held to enjoy the autumn scenery of Jeju Island, providing an opportunity for communication among participants from different institutions as well as a time to recharge away from work.

A participant in the training said, "It was a valuable time to gather with many people doing the same work to share various issues and think about them together," adding, "I believe this training will be very helpful for future practical work."

Song Hajung, Director of Sahakyeongeum, stated, "Through this training, we aim to assist pension affairs officers who serve as a bridge between Sahakyeongeum and school staff in performing their duties, and ultimately contribute to improving the quality of pension services," and added, "We will continue to frequently provide opportunities to strengthen the practical capabilities of pension affairs officers and promote mutual exchange."
