35th Anniversary Celebration: Delivery of 'Santa Box' to Support Vulnerable Groups

iM Securities announced on the 5th that it conducted a social contribution activity to deliver warmth to vulnerable households.

This social contribution activity was organized to commemorate the 35th anniversary of iM Securities' founding, aiming to support vulnerable groups in the community to have a warm winter.

On the previous day, iM Securities held a 'Early Santa Sharing' delivery ceremony at the Hyochang Comprehensive Social Welfare Center in Seoul, attended by President Seong Mu-yong of iM Securities, Director Kim Chang-jun of the Hyochang Comprehensive Social Welfare Center, and other officials, sponsoring 100 Santa boxes consisting of winter supplies and retort pouch foods.

The Santa boxes are scheduled to be delivered directly by volunteers appointed as Santas through recruitment to vulnerable households residing in Yongmun-dong and Hyochang-dong, Yongsan-gu. This face-to-face delivery of Christmas gifts was prepared to reduce feelings of alienation among marginalized groups within the community, foster emotional empathy, and encourage sharing activities in the local society.

Additionally, to celebrate its 35th anniversary, iM Securities also delivered 310kg of congratulatory rice received from DGB Financial Group affiliates to the Hyochang Comprehensive Social Welfare Center, ensuring it is distributed to low-income families and government grain beneficiaries in the area.

Seong Mu-yong, President of iM Securities, stated, “To mark our founding anniversary, we organized this activity to support vulnerable households in the community so they can have a warm winter,” adding, “We will continue to carry out community sharing activities to create a future together.”
