Operation of Capacity-Building Training with 31 City and County Career Experience Support Centers
Discovery of New Programs for Career Experience Support Centers in Emerging Industries
The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education (Superintendent Lim Tae-hee) will hold the "2024 Second Half Career Experience Support Center Capacity Building Training" on the 5th at Purumir in Hwaseong. The purpose is to expand communication opportunities between centers and enhance the capability to develop future career and job programs.

About 80 people, including representatives from career experience support centers in 31 cities and counties, as well as career education supervisors from the provincial and district offices of education, are expected to attend this event.
The main agenda includes △ Special lectures on future urban air mobility (UAM) and career jobs △ Thinking in the era of artificial intelligence △ Sharing cases of operating corporate-linked career experience programs △ Sharing and discussion of regional issues.
In particular, a special lecture by officials from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport will be held to support exploring career jobs in new industrial fields according to changes in future society and to strengthen the capacity of career experience support centers to discover new programs.
The Office of Education expects that this training will enhance the capacity of career experience support centers to discover new programs and contribute to solidifying center operations and activating communication.
Additionally, efforts will be actively made to promote training and consultation for activating career experiences in new industrial fields at the career experience support centers.
Kim Seong-jin, Director of Career and Vocational Education at the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education, said, “To realize Gyeonggi career education where students’ dreams become their future, it is important to find and provide new industrial field programs in a timely manner. We will strive to build an active cooperative system with regional career experience support centers to promote career education led by local communities.”
