Yeoju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Chung-woo) announced on the 4th that it successfully concluded the singles meeting event "Solo Ending Season 2" held at Yeoju Premium Outlets on the 2nd, attended by 32 unmarried men and women.
This event, held for the second time following May, was organized to address the low birthrate issue and to promote a positive change in perceptions about marriage. In particular, the program focused on conversations to allow participants to naturally share their personalities and values with each other.
In a relaxed atmosphere with couple recreation and one-on-one rotation conversations, participants freely communicated and took time to understand each other, resulting in the formation of 7 couples as the final matching outcome.
Kim Eun-ok, head of the Yeoju City Birth Promotion Movement Headquarters, said, "I am pleased that many people left positive impressions on each other through this event and found good matches," adding, "We will continue to strive to change perceptions about marriage and foster a family-friendly social atmosphere."
