Gwangju Transportation Corporation, '2033 Mission & Vision' Proclamation Ceremony

"Cities Convenient for Public Transportation: Walking Together with Citizens"

Gwangju Transportation Corporation declared the '2033 Mission and Vision' on the morning of the 4th at the headquarters auditorium. During the declaration ceremony, the corporation's executives and employees pledged to provide citizen-centered transportation services.

Gwangju Transportation Corporation held the 'Employee Empathy Day' on the 4th at the main auditorium of its headquarters in Mareuk-dong, Seo-gu, and hosted the 'Mission and Vision Proclamation Ceremony' expressing its determination to advance as a public transportation-centered city.

On this day, reflecting the administrative philosophy of the 8th local government term for transitioning to a 'Large, Autonomous, and Sustainable City,' the corporation declared its mission as 'Gwangju Transportation Corporation creating a city convenient for public transportation' and its vision as 'Safe and happy companionship with citizens.'

It also set forth four core management values: 'Absolute Safety,' 'Future Happiness,' 'Customer Satisfaction,' and 'Sustainable Growth,' and resolved that all employees would unite their efforts to provide citizen-centered transportation services.

Building on the proclamation ceremony, the corporation plans to accelerate achieving management goals by establishing 12 strategic tasks, including ▲achieving the highest grades in customer satisfaction and integrity ▲securing growth engines through organizational culture innovation ▲playing a pivotal role in Gwangju transportation in the era of Line 2.

Jo Ik-moon, President of Gwangju Transportation Corporation, said, “We have embedded our determination to become an advanced public enterprise through accumulated operational know-how and capabilities into our mission and vision,” adding, “All employees will do their best to unite their strength and become a transportation corporation that meets citizens’ expectations.”
