The Integrity Citizen Auditors will play a role in identifying corruption-prone areas in the institution's major projects and overall operations and providing improvement suggestions for the next two years.
Chairman Jeong Byeong-guk stated, "We will actively reflect the opinions of the Integrity Citizen Auditors to further strengthen the integrity of the Arts Council and do our best to become an institution trusted by the public and artists."
Meanwhile, the Arts Council's Audit Office has revised related regulations to solidify the operation of the Integrity Citizen Auditor system and plans to continue holding regular meetings, participating in anti-corruption and integrity policies, and engaging in exchange and cooperation activities with other institutions.
