A vessel ran aground near the east breakwater of Seogwipo Port in Jeju, and one crew member was rescued by the Seogwipo Coast Guard.
According to the Seogwipo Coast Guard on the 4th, at 11:59 a.m. that day, a VTS report was received suspecting that vessel A (2,213 tons, registered in Incheon, auxiliary vessel, with 1 crew member on board) had run aground at the entrance of the east breakwater of Seogwipo Port.

The Seogwipo Coast Guard, which responded to the report, quickly rescued the one crew member on board vessel A, and the vessel was refloated at around 1:35 p.m. and moved to a safe area.
No marine pollution caused by the accident vessel has been detected so far, and the Coast Guard is maintaining safety management near the accident site.
The Coast Guard is investigating the exact circumstances of the accident, including questioning the captain.
