Dongbu Construction announced on the 4th that it has achieved the 'Excellent' grade for five consecutive years in the 2023 Win-Win Growth Index Evaluation recently released by the Win-Win Growth Committee.
The Win-Win Growth Index Evaluation is scored based on performance evaluations such as surveys on the perception of large corporations' win-win management with small and medium enterprises conducted by the Win-Win Growth Committee, as well as the Fair Trade Commission's evaluation results on compliance with fair trade agreements.
Companies with an Excellent grade receive incentives such as a one-year exemption from the Fair Trade Commission's ex officio investigations, preferential treatment as excellent companies when participating in technology development projects implemented by institutions under the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, and additional points in the Public Procurement Service's pre-qualification (PQ) for public bidding (1 point from the Public Procurement Service and local governments).
Dongbu Construction explained that despite the prolonged downturn in the construction market, it has continuously strived for win-win cooperation with its partner companies, resulting in achieving the Excellent grade in the Win-Win Growth Index Evaluation again this year following last year.
Dongbu Construction regularly conducts various partner company win-win growth projects, including consulting on partner company management and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), awards and educational support for outstanding partner companies. It also actively works to secure liquidity for partner companies by contributing to the Win-Win Cooperation Fund. Recognizing these efforts, Dongbu Construction has been selected as the top company in the mutual cooperation evaluation among construction contractors conducted annually by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.
A Dongbu Construction official stated, "We place the highest value on win-win growth through cooperation with partner companies and are making company-wide efforts by preparing various support measures.
