Expansion of D-IT Recruitment for Digital Enhancement
Hiring Over 70% Local Talent
BNK Gyeongnam Bank announced on the 4th that it will recruit new employees for the second half of 2024 and conduct an 8-week training program.
The second half recruitment, which has been underway since last September, focused on expanding the hiring of D-IT talents to strengthen digital capabilities, including a specialized high school track and regional job creation.
This recruitment process was conducted not only to select talents with both competence and character but also to choose candidates suitable for BNK Gyeongnam Bank’s organizational culture.
During the newly established corporate culture suitability evaluation period, BNK Gyeongnam Bank directly assigned applicants to headquarters departments to assess whether the corporate culture and the applicants’ values matched. Through various team missions and tasks, practical problem-solving skills and collaboration abilities necessary for the job were verified.
At the entrance ceremony, Yeo Chang-hyun, Executive Director of the Management Support Headquarters, said, “I sincerely congratulate you on becoming new members of BNK Gyeongnam Bank after overcoming the difficult recruitment process, and I hope you will vigorously start your new journey as financial professionals based on the passionate attitude you showed during the recruitment.”
He added, “During the training period, please cultivate a mature sense of ownership and proper character, and through job training, acquire professional financial knowledge and attitudes to become talents trusted by the region and customers.”
He also stated, “We will continue to pay attention to hiring outstanding talents related to D-IT to respond to the changing financial environment and continue to fulfill the role of a regional bank by expanding the recruitment of local talents.”
The 30 newly hired employees will learn various knowledge through theoretical education including common banking tasks, deposits, loans, foreign exchange, fee-biz, and digital, as well as practical training, on-site experience at branches, and advanced learning.
They will also build basic qualities required as bankers, such as proper character and understanding of the organization, and participate in BNK Group joint training.
The new employees who entered the BNK Gyeongnam Bank training center will be assigned to branches and headquarters departments after completing the training course and the entrance ceremony, and will begin full-scale banking duties starting next year.
