Sancheong-gun, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 4th that it held a 'Joint Evaluation Meeting on Welfare Registered Mail Service Project' with Sancheong Post Office.
Earlier, on the 8th, Sancheong-gun and Sancheong Post Office promoted the welfare registered mail service project as a pilot project to prevent solitary deaths.
Sancheong County and Sancheong Post Office are conducting a joint evaluation meeting for the welfare registered mail service project.
Through this meeting, they evaluated the project, gathered opinions for next year's project, and discussed improvement measures.
The welfare registered mail service project is a service where Sancheong-gun sends welfare information mail, and Sancheong Post Office delivery workers deliver it directly, assess household living conditions, and provide customized welfare services.
In addition, through the 'Post Office Happiness Sharing Box,' it has received great responses by providing daily necessities support, proactively discovering welfare crisis households, fire prevention activities, light bulb repairs, and companionship services.
