Kia Autoland Gwangju (Plant Manager Moon Jae-woong) announced on the 4th that it held the 'Kia Together Concert' with the citizens of Gwangju at the outdoor music hall of Gwangju City Hall on the 3rd to give back for the love shown to Kia throughout the year.
The concert was filled with attendees including Kang Gi-jung, Mayor of Gwangju, Park Byung-gyu, Mayor of Gwangsan District, Moon Jae-woong, Plant Manager of Kia Autoland Gwangju, as well as citizens and families of Kia employees.
The 'Kia Together Concert,' which took place from 6 PM for three hours, began with a dance performance by the four-member female dance team ELRIS and popera by Kwon Hyo-jin. The main performances featured popular singers such as Norazo, known for hits like "Superman" and "Curry," followed by Lee Bo-ram, Space A, and So Chan-hwi, who delivered dazzling performances on stage. The finale was marked by the co-ed group Koyote, who received great applause from the audience with songs like "Sunjung" and "Bimong."
Alongside the concert, Kia operated a food truck zone with various food options and tables prepared on one side of the venue, enhancing the satisfaction of the attendees.
A Kia representative said, "We thank the citizens and families of employees who visited the concert venue despite the chilly weather, and we hope this concert will be remembered as a happy memory of the autumn day. Kia Autoland Gwangju will continue to carry out various social contribution activities."
Meanwhile, Kia Autoland Gwangju conducted the 'Kia With Green School Project' this year to raise awareness about the climate crisis in the local community. It also supported the '2024 Kia Challenge Project' to help local youth with their dreams and career planning and to foster children's cultural and artistic talents. Additionally, last month, to cheer for the Kia Tigers' Korean Series victory with the citizens of Gwangju, it operated an outdoor cheering zone at the Kim Dae-jung Convention Center, continuing various social contribution activities to accompany the local community.
