The occult film "The Black Nuns," starring actors Song Hye-kyo and Jeon Yeo-bin, is set to be released on January 24 next year, distributor NEW announced on the 4th.
"The Black Nuns" tells the story of people who undertake a forbidden ritual to save a boy possessed by a powerful evil spirit. It is a sequel that expands the universe of the 2015 film "The Priests," starring actors Kim Yoon-seok and Kang Dong-won.
Song Hye-kyo plays Sister Yunia, who prepares the ritual by any means to save the boy, and Jeon Yeo-bin co-stars as Sister Michaela, who decides to become a Black Nun to help her. Additionally, Lee Jin-wook plays Father Paolo, a psychiatrist who does not believe in the existence of demons, and Moon Woo-jin portrays Hee-jun, the boy possessed by the evil spirit.
