University Job Plus Center, Reimagined Digitally
Daejin University Career Plus Center has been running the "My Own Career, My Own Notion" program since the 1st. Daejin University (President Lim Young-moon) University Job Plus Center announced on the 4th that it successfully conducted the 'My Own Career, My Own Notion' program on the 1st. This program supported students in cultivating the ability to manage their careers intuitively and systematically and to design customized portfolios by utilizing the digital tool Notion.
The 'My Own Career, My Own Notion' program began with students planning portfolios by connecting job roles and personal experiences. Then, they learned the basics and various functions of Notion, spending time systematically designing their own digital portfolios through it. In the final stage, experts provided individual feedback to help students complete high-quality portfolios, and practice writing self-introduction letters linked to their career goals was also conducted.
Jang In-ho, head of the Daejin University University Job Plus Center, said, “It is important to help students acquire the ability to clearly express and manage their careers and achievements through digital tools like Notion,” adding, “This program will greatly assist students in systematically managing their individual strengths and experiences and designing concrete career paths.”
Students who participated in this program expressed high satisfaction with learning how to specifically set their career and goals and reflect them in digital portfolios.
One participating student said, “My previously vague career plan became concrete, and I gained confidence in writing self-introduction letters accordingly.” Another student shared, “I learned how to systematically manage my own strengths through a digital portfolio.”
Daejin University University Job Plus Center will continue to promote various support programs to enhance self-development and employment capabilities among young people.
