Jongno-gu, Recruiting for Self Home Repair Education for Single-Person Households Until the 6th

Three-Week Course Starting from the 13th of This Month

Jongno-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Jeong Munheon) will operate the ‘Jongno Single-Person Household Self Home Repair Education’ every Wednesday for three weeks starting from the 13th of this month. The purpose is to support residents living alone in solving everyday problems by themselves, enhancing their life skills, and supporting stable housing.

This education program will run for three weeks from November 13 to 27. It consists of three sessions held every Wednesday from 7 PM to 9 PM during the period.

The main topics include ‘Using Electric Drills and Installing Shelves,’ ‘Installing Outlets, Switches, and Lights,’ and ‘Types of Silicone and Application Methods.’ Only highly practical topics that beginners can easily apply in daily life were carefully selected, and group practice is also included.

Participants will use parts and tools actually used on-site under expert guidance, communicate closely with partners, and form social networks. The target participants are single-person households residing or living within the Jongno-gu area. Attendance at all three sessions is required, and residents and middle-aged people in their 40s and 50s will be given priority.
