HDC Hyundai Development Company Selected as Construction Contractor for Redevelopment Near Jeonju Military Manpower Administration Area

Urban Renewal Project Annual Orders Approaching 1 Trillion Won
Up to 25 Floors, 16 Buildings, 1,220 Households Planned

HDC Hyundai Development Company has secured the construction rights for the Jeonju Byeongmu Office Vicinity District Redevelopment and Maintenance Project, valued at 410.5 billion KRW.

HDC Hyundai Development Company announced on the 4th that it was selected as the construction company at the general meeting for the selection of the construction company for the Jeonju Byeongmu Office Vicinity District Redevelopment and Maintenance Project held on the 2nd in Jeonbuk, Jeonju.

The Jeonju Byeongmu Office Vicinity District Redevelopment and Maintenance Project involves building 1,220 apartment units across 16 buildings ranging from three basement floors to 25 above-ground floors on lot 157 in Namnosong-dong, Wansan-gu, Jeonju.

The project site is located within the downtown area of Jeonju and is near traditional school districts such as Jeonju High School and Jeonju Jeil High School. It is adjacent to convenience facilities including Jeonju City Hall, offering an excellent location environment. HDC Hyundai Development Company has supplied Seosin I-Park and Taepyeong I-Park near the project site, making it a region with high brand recognition for I-Park.

An official from HDC Hyundai Development Company said, "We proposed a specialized design, exterior, landscaping, and community features that leverage the advantage of views of Jeonju Hanok Village," adding, "We will meet the expectations and support of the union members with a new I-Park that will be introduced through specialized design and the highest quality."

HDC Hyundai Development Company is approaching a cumulative annual order amount of 1 trillion KRW in urban maintenance projects. Previously, in June, it secured the Daejeon Gayang-dong 1 District Redevelopment and Maintenance Project worth 257.3 billion KRW, and in July, the Jangandong Hyundai Apartment Reconstruction and Maintenance Project worth 274.2 billion KRW.
