Following the baton of Sseuk Day, Emart announced on the 4th that it will offer strong discount benefits with a 'Price Shock Declaration' in November.

The Price Shock Declaration is Emart's 'price investment project' aimed at providing essential food items and daily necessities at the lowest price levels to stabilize grocery prices.

The theme of the Price Shock Declaration, which runs for a month until the 28th, is 'Kimjang Price Stabilization' and 'Early Winter Food Preparation.' Emart has selected three core products for the November Price Shock Declaration: 'onions,' 'domestic pork front leg,' and 'Harim The Misik ambient temperature soup and stew 6 types,' which will be sold at the lowest price levels.

The essential vegetable for Kimjang, 'onions' (10,000 won for 3kg, domestic), will be offered at 4,980 won, 25% cheaper than the regular price. Emart has prepared 900 tons, more than twice the amount sold in a month. After purchasing onions in bulk during the nationwide buying season in June, Emart stocked them in its own fresh logistics center, the 'Fresh Center,' to enhance price competitiveness. In addition, product processing was carried out directly at onion production areas such as Gimcheon and Gochang, and then immediately sent to stores to ensure stable supply.

The 'domestic pork front leg (chilled, 100g),' which can be cooked as boiled pork after Kimjang, will be sold at 1,090 won, a 31% discount from the regular price. Domestic pork front leg has been selected as a Price Shock event product since October and has gained great popularity among customers. Monthly sales increased by 56.2% compared to the same period last year. Emart plans to continue offering special deals on pork front leg in November to provide ongoing benefits to customers.

An event for selecting ambient temperature instant soups and stews is also underway. As the weather gets colder, the demand for warm instant soups and stews increases. The products eligible for the selection event are 'Harim The Misik ambient temperature instant soups and stews 6 types (200g each),' which can be purchased as 3 for 4,980 won. At 1,660 won each, customers can conveniently prepare a meal for less than 2,000 won.

In addition, Emart has carefully selected 40 frequently purchased daily necessities and offers them at discounted prices. These include food ingredients such as 'Pulmuone domestic soybean sprouts (340g),' 'Seoul Milk 1L,' 'Samyang Ramen (120g, 5 packs),' and 'CJ Baeksul white sugar (1kg),' as well as everyday items like 'Codi Momkkeot Yangkkeot wet wipes 110 sheets (cap)' and 'On The Body flower body wash 2 types (Cherry Blossom, Iris 900g),' all available at affordable prices.
