Strengthening Networks Between Two University Students... Enhancing Startup Capabilities Through AI Educational Content Production
The Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation of Pusan National University (Director Kang Jeong-eun, Professor of Urban Engineering) held the ‘PNU-BNUE Glocal EduTech Startup Camp’ on the 1st and 2nd of this month at the Haeundae Central Hotel in Haeundae-gu, Busan, targeting students of Pusan National University (PNU) and Busan National University of Education (BNUE).
This camp was jointly hosted by PNU and BNUE, which were selected as Glocal University 30 in 2023, aiming to foster the startup ecosystem and spread startup culture in the EduTech field by building the Busan Startup Campus (PNU-FINAncinG) through university integration.
The 30 students from PNU and BNUE who participated in the camp cultivated creative and innovative entrepreneurial spirit through the production of educational content utilizing AI.
The main program of the event included various startup-related activities under the theme of ‘Creating Educational Content Using AI.’ Participating students used AI technology to produce short-form content and detailed pages, showcasing creative educational content through team competitions. A Startup Challenge Golden Bell was also held to provide an opportunity to learn startup-related terms and concepts.
Kang Jeong-eun, Director of the Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation at PNU, said, “This camp will be an important opportunity to strengthen the network between students of PNU and BNUE ahead of their integration in 2027 and to foster an EduTech startup culture.” She added, “Along with the promotion of Glocal University 30, we plan to continuously enhance students’ startup capabilities through various joint startup programs.”
