Guro-gu will hold the ‘Guro Carbon Zero (ZERO) Walking Event’ under the clear blue autumn sky in November.
The 149th ‘Guro Carbon Zero (ZERO) Walking Event’ began in 2003 as the ‘Anyangcheon Love Family Health Walk’ and was renamed last March to concretize the awareness of carbon neutrality while taking care of the health of Guro residents.
The walking event will take place on November 9th, starting at 7:30 AM from the A Soccer Field under Gocheok Bridge on Anyangcheon, following a 4km course passing Ogum Bridge and Sindorim Park Golf Course.
Various prize draws will be held for participants who complete the course, including portable smart TVs, tablet PCs, wireless vacuum cleaners, and hotel buffet meal vouchers.
However, prize recipients are limited to Guro-gu residents and workers in Guro-gu.
The event venue will operate promotional booths for energy saving such as Eco Mileage and OnGuro walking apps, and safety personnel and medical staff will be deployed to maintain order and control entry to prevent safety accidents.
Anyone can participate by visiting the event venue on the day of the event without prior registration.
