Wando Social Community Support Center Operates 'Economic Academy'

Discovering Startup Ideas and Practical Startup Connections

Wando Social Community Support Center announced on the 3rd that it operated the ‘2024 Social Economy Academy Introductory Course’ at the Wando Youth Center, attended by about 30 local residents.

This training, which started on the 17th of last month for Wando residents, is a specialized education program designed to discover startup ideas and connect them to actual startups.

Wando Social Community Support Center has been operating the "2024 Social Economy Academy Introductory Course," a specialized education program for discovering startup ideas and practical startup linkage, at the Wando Youth Center since the 17th of last month, with the participation of about 30 local residents.

The curriculum included various programs such as ▲Understanding Social Economy ▲Roles of Social Enterprises ▲Conditions for Establishing Village Enterprises ▲Cases of Cooperative Operation ▲Conditions for Establishing Social Enterprises ▲Business Models.

Graduates receive certificates of completion and are granted eligibility to participate in the Social Economy Startup School, along with benefits such as linkage to social economy enterprise consulting next year.

Center Director Shin Young-gyun said, “We are conducting the Social Economy Academy for a strong leap into Wando’s future,” adding, “Economic problems cannot be solved overnight. The Social Community Support Center is doing its best to discover capable activists and prepare startup support measures.”
