Connecting Companies and Workplaces through Digital Classes... Operating 'Company Visit Teacher Training' Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education has been operating the "Company Visit Teacher Training" program in four sessions from the 2nd to the 23rd, with about 160 elementary and secondary school teachers participating.

The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education (Superintendent Lim Tae-hee) is actively expanding partnerships with advanced companies to strengthen teachers' capabilities in digital-based instructional innovation.

The Office announced on the 3rd that from the 2nd to the 23rd, it will operate a "Company Visit Teacher Training" program divided into four sessions, with over 160 elementary and secondary school teachers participating.

The main training content includes ▲ understanding educational changes in the digital era ▲ understanding and practicing educational technology (EdTech) tools for application in school settings.

Participating teachers visit advanced digital utilization companies (Microsoft Korea, Apple Korea) to explore digital platforms and program practice, as well as classroom teaching methods using digital devices. Training also includes using digital tools leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) literacy and practical lessons on designing classes using smart devices.

This training is characterized by providing an opportunity to understand unique organizational cultures through company visits and to apply and explore educational technology (EdTech) necessary for future classrooms, thereby broadly enhancing teacher capabilities.

Teachers participating in the training are expected to play a leading role in digital-based instructional innovation by applying corporate educational technology to classroom teaching in school settings.

Lee Jeong-hyun, Director of the Education Capability Policy Division at the Office of Education, said, “We planned this training to allow teachers to experience the educational operating systems and educational technology tools of digital companies and to utilize them diversely in their classes.” He added, “As curriculum experts, we will continue to actively support teachers so they can fully demonstrate their digital capabilities for student-tailored education.”
