Oh Se-hoon Directly Criticizes Lee Jae-myung: "Dividing the World into Good and Evil, Unfit to Be a Leader"

On June 3, Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon criticized Lee Jae-myung, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, saying, "Those who see the world in terms of good and evil are not qualified to be leaders."

On the same day, Mayor Oh wrote on Facebook that it means "I am good, the other is evil. I am light, the other is darkness," and pointed out, "However, the world is made up of billions of different colors, not black and white. Viewing the world through a black-and-white filter inevitably distorts it greatly."

Oh Se-hoon Directly Criticizes Lee Jae-myung: "Dividing the World into Good and Evil, Unfit to Be a Leader" On the 21st, Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon announced the comprehensive plan "Seoul Without Loneliness" at Seoul City Hall to address issues of loneliness, isolation, and social withdrawal. He stated that beyond preventing solitary deaths, the plan aims to create a city where no Seoul citizen feels lonely through systematic and multidimensional support that prevents loneliness from the outset and blocks re-isolation and reclusion. This was aimed at Lee's past remarks that "The only condition for evil to triumph is that good people do nothing," and "Darkness can never overcome light."

Mayor Oh criticized, "In the past, dividing good and evil and regressing history through show trials was done by the Red Guards, and seeking a 'common enemy' for unity was a tactic of the Nazis."

Mayor Oh emphasized, "Those who see the world in terms of good and evil cannot lead the country in the right direction," adding, "It is like 以?測海 (Iryeocheokhae), meaning you cannot measure the sea with a gourd."
