Jungnang-gu Myeonmokbon-dong Autumn Cultural Festival Held

Jungnang-gu (District Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi) Myeonmokbon-dong Community Service Center successfully held the 'Autumn Cultural Festival' on October 31 at Myeonmok Station Plaza.

Hosted by the Myeonmokbon-dong Residents' Autonomy Committee, this autumn cultural festival was organized to provide an opportunity for residents to gather, enjoy various cultural programs, and communicate with each other.

The event was divided into three parts from 2 PM to 8 PM. First, Part 1 featured a session to share the achievements of the residents' autonomy programs. Various performances by residents, including acoustic guitar and belly dance, were presented, and works by participants of the residents' autonomy programs such as paintings, calligraphy, and paper folding were also exhibited.

In Part 2, a silver singing contest was held with participation from seniors aged 65 and older. In particular, the song performed by the oldest participant, aged 83, received great applause from the residents.

Finally, in Part 3, the 'Autumn Night Cinepark' screened the movie 'The Sound of Music,' allowing many residents to create special memories together.

Ryu Kyung-gi, Mayor of Jungnang-gu, said, "It is meaningful that residents could come together, share affection, and enjoy various cultural programs all in one place through this autumn cultural festival," adding, "We will continue to organize diverse cultural events that communicate and resonate with residents."
