Lee Seong-hae, Chairman of the Korea Rail Network Authority, Welcomes First Passengers of Seohae Line and Janghang Line Trains

Lee Seong-hae, President of the Korea Rail Network Authority, held a welcoming event on the 2nd to celebrate the commencement of full operation of the Seohae Line and Janghang Line double-track electrification, as well as the Poseung~Pyeongtaek single-track electrification, greeting the first train passengers.

At Hongseong Station, President Lee presented bouquets and souvenirs to the first train passengers using the Seohae and Janghang Lines, then boarded the train to spend time communicating with local residents.

President Lee said, "I would like to express my gratitude to the local residents who have supported and encouraged the successful opening of these three projects."
