Starting April 4 in Seodaemun-gu, Proceeding by Autonomous Districts
Explanation of Profitability Adjustment Coefficient, Current Floor Area Ratio, etc.
Seoul City will hold resident briefings in 25 autonomous districts to enhance understanding of maintenance projects such as reconstruction and redevelopment and to minimize conflicts.
On the 4th, Seoul City announced that it will conduct 'visiting resident briefings' by autonomous district, starting with Seodaemun-gu. The dates and locations will be arranged through demand surveys for each district.
Seoul City has announced and implemented the "2030 Seoul Metropolitan City Urban and Residential Environment Maintenance Basic Plan," which includes introducing a project profitability correction coefficient, recognizing the current floor area ratio, and easing the public contribution rate to expedite maintenance projects and facilitate smooth project promotion.
Since areas that previously did not have opportunities for maintenance projects due to low profitability can now improve profitability, Seoul City will explain methods to improve project profitability by region, such as applying the project profitability correction coefficient and improving the current floor area ratio.
The briefings are open to anyone interested in maintenance projects, including residents, maintenance project association officials, autonomous district public officials, and industry stakeholders related to maintenance projects. The briefing schedules for each district can be found on the Jeongbi Project Information Mongttang and Seoul City websites.
Han Byung-yong, Director of the Housing Office of Seoul City, said, "Through the visiting resident briefings, we will enhance understanding of maintenance projects and prevent confusion during the project promotion process." He added, "We will do our best to ensure that the reconstruction and redevelopment support measures, carefully developed by Seoul City, are applied to as many maintenance project sites as possible so that residents can benefit."
