Namyangju City Introduces AI Press Release Writing System 'Namgija'

AI-based press release writing system 'Namgija - Press Release Writing AI'.

Namyangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Joo Gwang-deok) announced on the 1st that it has introduced an AI-based press release writing system called ‘Namgija-Press Release Writing AI’ (hereinafter ‘Namgija’) to enhance the speed and accuracy of press release preparation.

‘Namgija’ is an AI trained on the format and style of press releases, creating draft articles that reflect Namyangju City's unique style.

The usage is also simple. Users search for ‘Namgija’ in the GPT search bar on the ChatGPT website and attach promotional materials in PDF or JPG format to generate a draft press release.

The drafted press release created this way can be refined with minimal editing, improving work efficiency for employees and enabling the prompt and accurate delivery of information to citizens.

Park Sun-young, Public Relations Officer, stated, “With the introduction of this AI, we will do our best to apply various innovative technologies across administration to strengthen communication with citizens and operate administrative services more efficiently.”
