Total Prize Amount of 2.16 Billion Won
A woman who bought a pension lottery ticket while on a date with her boyfriend won both the 1st and 2nd prizes simultaneously. The total prize amount is 2.16 billion KRW.
On the 31st of last month, the official website of Donghaeng Lottery posted the impressions of Ms. A, who won both the 1st and 2nd prizes in the 234th draw of the Pension Lottery 720+.

Ms. A said, "I usually buy 5,000 KRW worth of pension lottery tickets once or twice a month whenever I see a lottery sales store. One day, while on a date with my boyfriend, I saw a lottery sales store. My boyfriend bought a Lotto ticket, and I bought 5,000 KRW worth of pension lottery tickets."
Later, while on a date with her boyfriend, Ms. A remembered the lottery tickets she had purchased when she saw the lottery sales store again, and she confirmed that she had won both the 1st and 2nd prizes simultaneously in front of the store.
Ms. A said, "The moment I confirmed the win, my heart was pounding, so I went to a cafe to calm down by drinking a warm tea. After calming down, I double-checked to make sure the win was real, and when it became a reality, I was very happy."
Ms. A said she has no plans yet on how to use the prize money but added, "I am always grateful that such luck has come to me, and I will live with gratitude."
The Pension Lottery 720+ requires matching a total of seven digits, including the series number and six numbers. The 1st prize winner receives 7 million KRW monthly for 20 years, and the 2nd prize winner receives 1 million KRW monthly for 10 years, both in the form of an annuity. The total prize money Ms. A will receive over 20 years amounts to 2.16 billion KRW.
