Promotion of Spent Nuclear Fuel Dry Storage Facility
Enjoyment Offered Through Nostalgic Capsule Toy Game
Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (Head: Lee Seyong) operated a mobile promotional booth at the Heungbu Daebak Festival on October 31, providing entertainment for local residents.
The Hanul Headquarters distributed promotional materials about the on-site dry storage facility for spent nuclear fuel to festival visitors and spent time communicating with local residents.
Additionally, through a nostalgic claw machine game, souvenirs such as cypress wood cutting boards and towels engraved with the Hanul Headquarters slogan, "A Century Plan for the Energy Cluster Uljin, Together with Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters," were given away.
Jeon Hodong, chairman of the Buk-myeon Development Council, said, “I was pleased to feel a sense of unity as Hanul Headquarters employees participated in the local festival, and I hope that this festival, which was successfully concluded, will continue to be an event that many people come to enjoy.”
In response, Head Lee Seyong said, “I am glad that Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters employees, as local residents of Buk-myeon, participated in the festival and strengthened our bonds, and I hope the Heungbu Daebak Festival will establish itself as a sustainable festival of Buk-myeon.”
