Gwangjin-gu (Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) has newly created the ‘Pine Garden,’ full of seasonal attractions, in the Acha Mountain Pine Forest, a representative local landmark.
The Acha Mountain Pine Forest, located above Eoullim Square, is home to a beautiful and elegant premium pine tree colony, making it a popular spot for many residents.
Accordingly, the district prepared to create a garden to transform the pine forest area into a space for healing and relaxation for visitors.
The Pine Garden was established on approximately 1,500㎡. It is planted with 3,700 flowering trees including hydrangeas, lilacs, and forsythias, along with 19,000 herbaceous plants such as lilies, yuccas, and astilbes.
In particular, by harmoniously planting flowers and trees that reflect the changing seasons, it is expected to offer visitors to Acha Mountain a fresh and diverse landscape.
Additionally, various rest facilities such as benches, sun loungers, and platforms are provided throughout the garden, allowing visitors to momentarily forget their daily lives and enjoy contemplation in nature.
Kim Kyung-ho, Mayor of Gwangjin-gu, said, “We have enriched the garden to offer various attractions and resting spaces to many visitors to Acha Mountain. I hope everyone can feel the spirit of the premium pine trees and heal together with family and neighbors in the newly renovated Acha Mountain Pine Garden.”
