This campaign was initiated by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Child Rights Protection Agency to raise awareness about child abuse.
Chief Kim stated, "To protect children and help them grow into healthy individuals, non-violent and positive parenting methods within the family are important," adding, "The police will also do their best to create a society where all children are safe from abuse."
After being nominated by Kim Bong-sik, Chief of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, Chief Kim nominated Kim Byung-gi, Chief of the Seoul Gangseo Police Station, and Eom Ju-sik, Chairman of the Songpa District Youth Development Association, as the next participants.
