KHNP Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters successfully concluded the 2024 Hanul Headquarters Appreciation Concert ‘Gamsadeurim (感謝&Dream)’ held on October 30 at Hanul Energy Farm for local residents.

‘Gamsadeurim (感謝&Dream)’ was planned to express gratitude to the residents of Uljin County for their support in celebration of the completion of Shin Hanul Units 1 and 2 and the groundbreaking of Shin Hanul Units 3 and 4, and to dream and envision the future together with the Uljin energy cluster, which produces more than 10% of South Korea’s electricity.
Hwang Ju-ho, President of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power, opened the concert by delivering a message of thanks to the local residents for their continued support of the Hanul Headquarters and introducing the first performers on stage.
The performances featured four teams, including the Gyeongbuk Arts High School dance team, winners of the first ‘Hanul ESG Dance Festival’ held in August, followed by a rich lineup of ballad and R&B performances by singers Gummy, Lee Eun-mi, Lee Young-hyun, and Park Jung-hyun, providing the audience with both emotion and enjoyment.
One concert attendee, invited as a local resident, said, “Thank you for organizing this event to show appreciation for the hard work of local residents. I will continue to actively support and cheer for the projects promoted by Hanul Headquarters.”
Another local resident who attended the concert through advance reservation expressed gratitude, saying, “Watching the skilled singers and students’ dance performances was a delightful experience for both eyes and ears. I was able to cheer and enjoy together with the audience, creating wonderful memories.”
Lee Se-yong, Head of Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters, said, “I am grateful to the local residents who have consistently supported Hanul Headquarters for a long time. I hope this deep autumn night provided a healing time through music, and we will continue to strive for the development of local culture through diverse cultural performances.”
