On the 31st, Seosan City in Chungnam announced that it held a "Workshop for Improving Women-Friendly Workplace Culture" at Benikea Hotel, attended by around 50 representatives from 27 local companies.


This workshop, organized by the Seosan Women's New Work Center, was prepared to share corporate visions and values, diagnose the current workplace culture, and seek ways for companies and employees to coexist and thrive together.


The workshop included a women-friendly company partnership agreement ceremony, a 2024 performance report from the Seosan Women's New Work Center, a roundtable discussion, and practical training on utilizing corporate support systems.

At the partnership agreement ceremony, each company agreed to actively hire female employees and to work together to improve women-friendly workplace culture that enables a balance between work and family.


In addition, the Seosan Women's New Work Center committed to enhancing corporate images through the promotion of women-friendly partner companies and to cultivating the workforce needed by companies through tailored vocational education.


Mayor Lee Wan-seop said, "For the creation of a women-friendly workplace culture, families, companies, and society must work together," and added, "We will do our best to create an environment where women can work comfortably by building and strengthening cooperative networks between organizations."


Meanwhile, the Seosan Women's New Work Center, as a specialized institution for women's employment support, provides comprehensive employment services such as vocational training for women's skill development, career counseling for women with career interruptions, and post-employment management.
