Maxim Love of Fragrance is Dongseo Foods' representative patronage activity supporting cultural assets for youth orchestras. Since starting with the Busan Boys' Home Orchestra in 2008, Dongseo Foods has supported elementary school orchestras nationwide for 17 years by providing new instruments and supplies, renovating practice rooms, and improving performance environments. The total accumulated sponsorship amount has reached 490 million KRW to date.
Daejeon Dongdo Elementary School implements a one-instrument-per-student education program for all students. From the 4th grade, all enrolled students participate as members of the Donghaeng Orchestra, fostering cooperation and a sense of achievement through group music activities.
On this day, Dongseo Foods delivered new instruments such as violins and cellos, as well as music education equipment worth approximately 38 million KRW to the students of Daejeon Dongdo Elementary School through an instrument delivery ceremony, supporting their future dreams.
Additionally, world-renowned violinist Kim Dami, a native of Daejeon who participated in the 14th Dongseo Coffee Classic held the previous day at Daejeon Arts Center, along with members of the Gongju City Chungnam Symphony Orchestra, visited Daejeon Dongdo Elementary School to conduct a masterclass providing instrument performance guidance to the orchestra members.
On this day, violinist Kim Dami gave a mini-lecture containing messages of encouragement and support to the students, accompanied by a beautiful performance that received enthusiastic responses from the students. The Donghaeng Orchestra of Daejeon Dongdo Elementary School responded with gratitude by performing Dvo??k's Symphony "From the New World."
