Xiaomi Redmi 14C Gains Attention in Korea Immediately After Launch for Price and Performance

Airute, Xiaomi's official partner, announced on October 18 that the Redmi 14C, officially launched in Korea, is receiving great attention due to its economical price and decent performance.


Priced in the 100,000 KRW range, this smartphone is gaining positive responses among consumers who prioritize cost-effectiveness. Reviews on Naver Shopping Mall include comments such as "The large screen is great for watching videos" and "The design and features are satisfying, and the cost-performance ratio is excellent."


The Redmi 14C features a large 6.88-inch display with a maximum 120Hz refresh rate, enhancing visual immersion. It offers smooth screen transitions across various content, making it suitable for everyday use. Equipped with a MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra octa-core processor and up to 16GB RAM (including expandable RAM), it can smoothly handle daily app usage, multitasking, and light gaming.


Additionally, it supports a large 5160mAh battery and up to 18W fast charging, enabling stable use throughout the day. The basic package includes a 33W charger and a phone case to enhance user convenience. It is equipped with a 50MP AI dual camera and a 13MP front camera, suitable for everyday photography and delivering clear photo quality even in low light conditions.


The device is available in three colors: Midnight Black, Sage Green, and Starry Blue, and features a slim design with a thickness of 8.22mm. It runs Xiaomi’s latest operating system, HyperOS, which also enhances privacy protection. In particular, it improves security functions with TEE OS that separately handles sensitive information and uses encrypted secure links during data transmission to prevent information leakage.


The launch prices are 149,600 KRW for the 4GB+128GB model and 199,100 KRW for the 8GB+256GB model. It can be purchased through various channels including the online malls of Korea’s three major telecom companies, Xiaomi’s Naver brand store, and the Airute mall. To celebrate the launch, a Starbucks gifticon will be given to those who write photo reviews, and outstanding reviewers will receive various prizes such as Xiaomi robot vacuum cleaners, Xiaomi TVs, and Mi Band 8.
