Dongwon Systems Strengthens Expertise by Hiring Externally
Dongwon CNS: "A Leader of Inclusion with 33 Years of Experience"
Dongwon Group announced on the 31st that it has recruited and appointed talented individuals with expertise and field experience as CEOs and executive officers of its affiliates.
The affiliates that newly appointed CEOs this time are Dongwon Systems and Dongwon CNS.
Jung Yong-wook, CEO of Dongwon Systems' Secondary Battery Business Division, and Lee Young-ran, CEO of Dongwon CNS
First, Dongwon Systems appointed Vice President Jeong Yong-wook, formerly of LG Energy Solution, as CEO of the secondary battery business division, a core new business. CEO Jeong previously oversaw overseas sales and marketing of secondary batteries at LG Energy Solution and served as head of the Poland production subsidiary and regional head for Europe. CEO Jeong is expected to accelerate Dongwon Systems’ new business by overseeing the manufacturing of aluminum cathode foils, battery cans, and cell pouches for secondary batteries.
In addition, Shin Dong-man, former CEO of DuPont Korea, a global chemical company, was appointed as an executive officer in charge of the materials business division of Dongwon Systems, which produces flexible packaging materials and industrial films.
Furthermore, Dongwon CNS, an affiliate that closely manages sales staff in the field, appointed its first female CEO in Dongwon Group history. The new CEO, Lee Young-ran, joined Dongwon Group as a new employee in 1992 and is a field expert who has overseen distribution sales and promotional training. She has been recognized among Dongwon Group employees for her inclusive leadership and has been entrusted with this important role.
