The Busan~Bali route, the first direct flight over 5,000 km from a regional airport outside the Seoul metropolitan area, has commenced its inaugural operation.
On the afternoon of the 30th, Air Busan held a launch ceremony at the expanded terminal departure hall of Busan Gimhae International Airport, announcing the start of the new Busan~Bali route. Attendees celebrated the launch of the longest-distance route from Gimhae Airport and wished for the commencement of routes to the Americas and Europe.
Air Busan flight BX601, fully booked with 220 passengers, took off from Gimhae Airport at around 5:50 PM and departed for Bali. The regular Busan~Bali route operates four times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday).
Departing Busan at 5:50 PM, the flight arrives in Bali at 11:45 PM local time. The return flight departs Bali at 1:05 AM local time and arrives in Busan at 9:00 AM on the same day.
