Joo Gwang-deok, Mayor of Namyangju City, is visiting Toegyewon High School on the 30th to hold a sincere discussion with the educational community for the development of education. On the 30th, Namyangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Joo Gwang-deok) visited Toegyewon High School to hold a roundtable meeting for the educational community and the development of education.
The roundtable meeting was attended by a total of 21 members of the educational community, including Mayor Joo Gwang-deok of Namyangju City, Principal Ryu Jae-hyun of Toegyewon High School, school officials, and parents, to discuss the educational issues of Toegyewon High School and student commuting safety.
In particular, the educational community proposed ▲ the installation of a rotary intersection at the main entrance road in front of the school ▲ repair of the worn-out floor facilities of the Kendo hall and waterproofing of the rooftop ▲ change of use for the school land property, and expressed opinions on the overall operation of the school sports teams.
Principal Ryu Jae-hyun said, “Thanks to Namyangju City’s special interest in education and active support, the Kendo and Bowling teams of Toegyewon High School have achieved good results at national sports competitions,” adding, “I hope that through this roundtable meeting, the educational environment in Namyangju City will be further improved and students will be able to pursue their dreams in a better environment.”
Mayor Joo Gwang-deok said, “As Jeong Yak-yong said, ‘Raising one child is like creating a whole world,’ we will ensure that our students can realize their potential in a safe and pleasant environment.”
