Gyeonggi-do Northern Autonomous Police Committee Holds Meeting to Promote Safe Traffic Environment The Northern Gyeonggi Autonomous Police Committee is holding a business consultation on the 30th to discuss operational plans, including regular inspections of unmanned enforcement equipment, with the Gyeonggi Regional Headquarters of the Korea Road Traffic Authority.

The Gyeonggi-do Northern Autonomous Police Committee (Chairman Lee Sang-ro, hereinafter referred to as the Committee) held a business consultation on the 30th with the Korea Road Traffic Authority Gyeonggi Regional Headquarters to discuss operational plans, including regular inspections of unmanned enforcement equipment.


This consultation was arranged to create a safer traffic environment and establish a considerate traffic culture. Both organizations identified the effective operation and management of unmanned enforcement equipment as a key task to prevent traffic violations and reduce traffic accidents, and they held in-depth discussions on regular equipment inspections and maintenance plans.


In particular, they sought ways to introduce the latest technology for effective enforcement while minimizing the burden of regular inspection costs.


Lee Sang-ro, Chairman of the Gyeonggi-do Northern Autonomous Police Committee, stated, “Through this consultation, we will contribute to reducing traffic accidents in northern Gyeonggi and do our utmost to create an environment where residents can use the roads safely.”


Meanwhile, the Gyeonggi-do Northern Autonomous Police Committee and the Korea Road Traffic Authority Gyeonggi Regional Headquarters will continue to explore various measures to strengthen traffic safety infrastructure and do their best to create a safe traffic environment for residents through ongoing cooperation.
