Yeoju City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 30th that it has secured 112 million KRW in national funds for the 2025 cadastral resurvey project and will establish an implementation plan for 527 land parcels totaling approximately 330,000㎡ in the Wolsong, Shinji, and Unchon districts, thereby officially launching the project.
The cadastral resurvey project is conducted to correct discrepancies between the registered details in the cadastral records and the actual status of the land, and to convert the registered cadastral maps into digital cadastral data, aiming for efficient use of national land and protection of citizens' property rights.
The implementation plan for the cadastral resurvey project includes information on the location, area, timing and duration of the project, and details regarding the land status survey. Landowners and stakeholders can submit their opinions on the implementation plan during the public inspection period.
The cadastral resurvey project requires the consent of at least two-thirds of the landowners and area within the project district as a condition for designation.
An official from Yeoju City’s Civil Complaints and Land Division stated, “Since the cadastral resurvey project enhances land utilization value by resolving boundary disputes, regularizing land shapes, and eliminating blind spots, we ask for the active participation and cooperation of landowners to ensure smooth progress. We also request continuous interest so that the cadastral resurvey project can be successfully completed by 2030.”
