"ESG Management System Expanded to Overseas Subsidiaries"
Dong Sung Chemical announced on the 30th that it has received an integrated A grade for two consecutive years in the ESG management evaluation conducted by the Korea Corporate Governance Service (KCGS).
Dong Sung Chemical was recognized for its improved management transparency by receiving an A grade in the Governance (G) category, one level higher than last year. This achievement was due to establishing an ethics and anti-corruption risk management process, enacting operational regulations for the introduction of a fair trade compliance program, and strengthening ethical and compliance management.

In the Environment (E) and Social (S) categories, the company received A and A+ grades, respectively. Dong Sung Chemical is actively responding to climate change by expanding its eco-friendly product portfolio, including compostable packaging solutions based on compostable raw materials, and initiating life cycle assessments (LCA) for each product.
In the Social category, the company supports sustainable management practices of its partners by conducting ESG diagnostics and improvement consulting. It is also making efforts to internalize human rights management by systematizing human rights education, human rights violation remedy procedures, and human rights risk management processes.
A company representative stated, "We will expand and further advance our ESG management system to overseas subsidiaries to achieve sustainable growth."
