Yongin City to Hold Agricultural Products Sale and Experience Event at Dongbaek Lake Park on Next Month 2nd

'Color Journey with Yongin 8 Flavors' Theme

Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province will hold a local agricultural products promotion and sales festival at Dongbaek Lake Park in Giheung-gu on the 2nd of next month to commemorate Farmers' Day.

This festival, aimed at encouraging the hard work of farmers throughout the year and widely promoting excellent local agricultural products to citizens, is themed "A Colorful Journey with Yongin's 8 Flavors (Yongin 8mi)." It features the sale and tasting of various local agricultural and livestock products along with diverse agricultural and rural experience events.

At the event venue, visitors can enjoy tasting Korean beef (Hanwoo) and pork (Handon) produced in Yongin, discounted local food sales, agricultural and flower exhibitions, kimchi-making experiences, horse feeding, taking home stag beetles, and celebratory performances.

On the day of the event, there will be a Farmers' Day commemorative ceremony and awards presented to farmers who have contributed to the development of local agriculture and management innovation.

A city official said, "This festival was organized to promote the excellent food products produced in Yongin so that they can receive greater love," adding, "At the event venue, visitors will be able to purchase various agricultural products at affordable prices while enjoying a variety of events."
