The court dismissed the injunction request by former Adore CEO Min Hee-jin to be reinstated as CEO.
The Civil Division 50 of the Seoul Central District Court (Presiding Judge Kim Sang-hoon) dismissed the injunction request filed by former CEO Min against HYBE on the 29th. A dismissal is a procedure that concludes the case without substantive judgment when the claim does not meet the legal requirements.
Earlier, on the 13th of last month, former CEO Min filed an injunction request demanding the convening of an Adore extraordinary general meeting and reappointment as an inside director. Adore held an extraordinary general meeting on the 17th and temporarily reappointed former CEO Min as an inside director. The term is three years starting from the 2nd of next month.
Adore's side argued during the hearing that former CEO Min betrayed HYBE, fundamentally destroying the trust relationship, making it impossible to appoint her as CEO.
