Dongducheon-si Holds Love Longevity Photo Shoot Event

On the 28th, Dongducheon City took longevity photos for a total of 60 people, including senior university students and elderly residents at the Dongducheon Senior Welfare Center.

On the 28th, Dongducheon City in Gyeonggi announced on the 29th that it had taken longevity photos for a total of 60 people, including senior university students and elderly residents at the Dongducheon Senior Welfare Center.

This photo shoot was supported by Seoul Shinsegye Eye Clinic (Chief Director Park Jong-hoon) and the (tentative name) Dongducheon Medical Welfare Social Foundation (Director Lee Su-jin), and was carried out through talent donations such as photography and makeup by Dongha Art Edu, the Korea Photographers Association, and Heo Hee-young Wedding Gallery.

An elderly participant in the event said, “I am grateful not only for the photo shoot but also for the beautiful makeup; it was a day when I felt special.”

Park Jong-hoon, Chief Director of Seoul Shinsegye Eye Clinic, said, “I am happy and thankful to be able to give a meaningful gift to the elderly.” Lee Su-jin, Director of the Dongducheon Medical Welfare Social Foundation, stated, “We will always strive for the welfare and well-being of the elderly, who are like our parents.”

Mayor Park Hyung-deok expressed his gratitude, saying, “I thank Director Park Jong-hoon and Director Lee Su-jin for their sponsorship, as well as everyone who practiced talent donation.” He added, “We will continue to cooperate with the local community to promote the happy retirement and welfare of the elderly.”
